The acoustic guitar is the keynote of this song. A long, tenuous, and tiring search was undergone by me to find the right guitarist who would be able to capture the mood of the song, but fortunately, I finally found one capable of doing justice to the song. |

Story Behind the Song
The song 'Search' suggests going forward to the future and moving on to new thoughts and actions rather than dwelling on unpleasant situations that have passed. This song also encourages people to focus on being at peace with whatever life throws at them rather than brooding over what they could not do or failed to achieve. The song was written in the midst of my studies at University of California - Berkeley.
Lyrics
VERSE:
My strength is gone, but where it went, I can't tell - don't know what to say;
Maybe some people hid it really well - all the games they play.
Soon I was tired as time expired;
The search has left me numb.
I'll never find it; well, never mind it -
I'll take things as they come.
CHORUS:
Better to turn my head - my mind's made up now.
Nonchalance kills the dread; no clues can guide the way.
Better to turn my head - my mind's made up now.
Nonchalance kills the dread, but soon, I'll be okay.
VERSE:
The wait drained all my hope out bit by bit - all this takes too long.
We've seemed to delve deep in a sunken pit - you ask what went wrong.
No use explaining, so quit complaining -
That won't do any good.
Clear off what has passed; there'll be peace at last -
Things'll go as they should.
(REPEAT CHORUS)
