	Story Behind the Song The chorus for this song was written way before the verses, circa 1999. Played originally in hardcore band Steadfast out of Ontario, Canada. Then the song was revamped and reworked by Troy Thompson while on a vacation in London, England in early 2003 while pondering life. Thus the song was made to be a look back on some of the favorite events of those early years. This is a demo version of the song with just guitars and vocals. Lyrics climbing apple trees/getting dirty knees/kung fu in the forest/acting like Chuck Norris/carebears and hercules/every morning on TV/building forts for fun/slip and slide in the sun..weeee.. reflections of the way/ the days go by memories rush in/ will it be the same again sleeping under the stars/camping in the backyard/listening to 45's/having the time of our lives/picking strawberries/reading books by Richard Scarry..where's gold bug.. time flies by so fast/our present becomes the past/pictures in my mind/stay with me for all time..reflections..memories played with He-man figures/wondered why was Barbie bigger/dressing up like a rockstar/dream of driving a fast car/racing my BMX bike/catching fireflies at night/picnics at the beach/getting allowance every week
