A creative look at a relationship. Catchy, original, tight, and dynamic. Fans of Albert Einstein and physics in general will appreciate the many references, and how they tie in to the subject. |

Story Behind the Song
Sort of popped into my head. I came up with the rhythm first and was wondering what lyrics to put to it. The chorus wrote itself and the rest followed.
Lyrics
Here's a little something I learned about you
It takes more than science to uncover the truth
about the time and space that you occupy
No one else can fit in your shoes
that's fine by me 'cause you a dream come true
and whatever we face I know that we'll get by
Einstein never explained it like this
but you're relative to me and my relatives
Like a star flashing across the sky
I look up to you and I wonder why
you shine on me, out of all the other fish in the sea
It's physics for two, me and you
Your space warped my time and I'm cruisin'
at the speed of life, where time stands still
this love ain't know theory it's no illusion
We can try to work it out with geometry
and it's got a bit to do with our chemistry
but the way I'm feeling started with you
and it's physics, physics for two
Some nights I look up at the stars
and sense of wonder fills my heart
when I think, "Hey, we're part of this place!"
All the neat things there are to do
my reaction is multiplied by two
when I see the wonder on your face
(chorus)
Like an island in the sea
there's just you and me
Drifting through a crazy world
will you be my girl?
I don't care about the worm holes
or the bending of space
you're my here and now
and we're two, in one place...
