	Story Behind the Song In the spring of 03, I would fall out of my bed around 11am and log on to CNN to view the pictures from the previous day at war with Iraq. This song was inspired by the vivid pictures from those mornings and written to stir up the same images for the listener. "The Stars Are Falling Off the Flag" deals with my belief that the United States isn't united about anything, hence the title.
