	Story Behind the Song My dog "Texas" got his name from the state, where he was found running down one of those "40 miles to the next gas station" roads leading into Austin. Somebody dumped him, so he was running, running, running tying to get to where he was going, even though that would have been nowhere, but luck for me that's how we met.
