	Story Behind the Song I Lift You Up My inspiration for this song goes back from a young age, growing up as a Baptist in Tennessee, then as a teen having couriousity about other faiths I visited a Full Gospel church near our home in Arkansas. Oh, the difference I experienced, I became such a different person. It was at that time when I experienced the learning of raising my hands, lifting my voice to God, I learned more how to seek, pray, fast, and most of all I learned how to open myself up fully to God; how to appreciate his love, and everything that he's done for me. I think it made me realize that during my childhood it was part of God's plan that I was where I was until then. Too, I'm also very thankful for it. I was so hungry, and became so excited about learning about God's power more and more. God has touched me in so many ways, so when I sing this song "I Lift You Up" it comes from the very bottom of my heart. He is my Lord and Savior, he means everything to me, and I praise him, I lift him up. Lyrics Steve W.
