Story Behind the Song
This idea was a spur of the moment type of deal. I programmed the drums first and then worked from that. This wasn't a song I had previously worked on, although it does have a similiar bass line to an old song of mine. It took me a long time to record this, primarily due to the fact I didn't know where to base the idea. I just experimented with different effects and bass lines, only to come up with a basic lay out of pop progression. I tried to add lyrics onto this track, but during mixdown I cut them out. Just try to imagine James Brown singing to this jam, it'd be better that way. The changes in the song occur spiratically which made the song fun and challenging for me to record. I almost think of this idea as a dance song, just listen to it for yourself.
Lyrics
None, but sing along to it like James Brown would, "Sucka whatchu say, whatchu say, Sucka? ... Groove ME!"
