But it's about being hooked on something/someone that you think can bring you happiness then it/they just throw you down with no resentment. "You picked me up and brushed me off and set me right back down, you dragged me through this water just so you could watch me drown." The song took about 4 days to complete, and 8 tries to get it recorded correctly. Keep in mind this track was recorded in my basement due to lack of money for an actual studio session.
