Story Behind the Song
God's project throughout. I stumbled on the Christian Songwriters loop and posted some vocals for one writer. Deb Rempel heard them and suggested I sing this song, with Derek McCorkell providing the background. Without meeting one another, we exchanged tracks and Derek produced the final song. Praise God.

Lyrics
This world and all that it holds:
Its pleasures, beauty, and gold,
Like castles of snow will melt, melt away
Leaving you empty and cold; but
God will never leave or forsake, leave or forsake His children.
God will never leave or forsake, leave or forsake His children.
You've gathered wealth, power and land
But found you held only sand.
Oh, turn from this glitter, these diamonds of dust,
And lay your life in God's hands for
God will never leave or forsake, leave or forsake His children.
God will never leave or forsake, leave or forsake His children.
Though mountains crumble
And wars may rage
We shall not fear
For we shall say:
God will never leave or forsake, leave or forsake His children.
God will never leave or forsake, leave or forsake His children.
