I love the piano loop that I put on this piece, simple but effective. I feel it could have had more bass, but otherwise I am very happy with it.

    Story Behind the Song
This song pretty much sums up some of the life decisions I have had to make recently. Graduating from college was a scary thing, in that I really was unsure what the hell I wanted to do. I had somewhat of an epiphany though and made the decision to become a psychologist. The song is mainly about getting in touch with your feelings, listening to what people have to say, and confronting the inner turmoil of an indecisive and confused mind.

    Lyrics
Some rappers out there are just saying stuff
live up to a persona that's cool and tough
my beats are heartfelt and I'm spreading the word, it's rough living your whole life without being heard,
that's how I felt dog and I'll tell you what
I'm not looking to hook up with some random slut, at this event in which your mind is the venue, I'll listen to your words and then let you continue
(Chorus) Cause I'm a student for life, a teacher for life, not tryin to change the world just to run my life
graduating college with a bachelor's degree
I got no fucken clue what you want me to be
oh shit that's right it's my decision, but I felt like my mind had become a prison
a little speed, a hit of weed and I'm high
but I still don't know the true code to live by, engrossing in my music want it just to be right, knew I couldn't see and had to turn on a light
I'll be a student for life, teacher for life, not tryin to change the world just to run my life
Findin myself at a week in B.I., my emotions have returned and again I've learned to cry, our house was fucken perfect we be slammin them drinks, drunken wisdom conversations had revealed all the links to what was our being and the reason we're here I never thought I'd see anything so perfectly clear, I was a ghost in the world now my plans have unfurled, a fetus has expanded when it used to be curled
Cause I'm a student for life, a teacher for life, not tryin to change the world just to run my life
I'll be a student for life, teacher for life,
I'm tryin to change the world as I run my life
