Lyrics
Lo, I see hungry eyes lusting for my flesh
Under the window of hermit's rundown house
Gloom as they stare like stars from darkness
Beautiful in my thoughts, among the beast as a rose
Words are stronger than swords,
stay away children of forest lords
Son and maiden of forest,
keep your dark hounds on yer mighty leash
I shall slaughter a white wolf
I'll cut the head off to chain it round the trunk of tree
I'll carv the skin off and turn it backwards
to walk with it on these shoulders around these lands
All this to sleep the cold nights and at dawn finally to awake
Where could i find a consolation for the weeping child?
As I shed a tear for this wintry tragedy, I wonder...
What was the source of mourning?
Great must have been their losses
Their pain
When the ice and snow has melted
They feast together for enjoyment of summer
Not for the illumination but to rebel!
Winter is the essence of their existance
A fatherlike state of mind, dark and cold
In dark hollows they sleep, far away from daylight
What was this act of terror?
That made them lurk in the shadows
When the darkness arrives...
Blood is shed
Still, I see hungry eyes lusting for my flesh
Under the very same window
And I die...
