    Story Behind the Song
I wrote this song after losing my father’s land that he worked for all his life. It was a heart wrenching court battle that our family lost due to an illegal, but accepted, land bid by a Texas Judge. I was sitting, looking over the water at The Texas Monument right where Texans had fought to die for their “Independence” from Mexico. At the time I was simultaneously fighting to save my deceased husbands Donald Scott’s ranch “Trails End” which was one of the largest single parcels of majestically beautiful “privately owned” land in the world, located in Malibu, California. I wrote this song after much devastation, and personally witnessing political corruption at the highest levels of our so-called “civilized” and “fair” government. This was the inspiration behind “Conspiracy Cocktail.

    Lyrics
Well I think that Jesus Christ drank wine
And for this he was surely crucified
And when he wouldn’t vent straight to heaven he was sent
Yes, I think that Jesus Christ drank wine

No and Janis didn’t commit suicide
It was her manager that she surely fired
And it had to be with smack
Cuz with that she couldn’t talk back
    No Janis didn’t commit suicide

Well now Jesus He died upon the cross
And the Jews thought it was their loss
    Well it made many sad
Now the whole damn worlds gone mad
Cuz Jesus He died upon the cross

No and Marilyn didn’t really kill herself
No Marilyn didn’t really kill herself
    She just got really drunk
And called the wrong dudes punks
No Marilyn didn’t really kill herself

So could you please tell me the time
And whose set up just to drop the dime
Well I think it’s a quarter to four now I can’t write anymore
Could you please tell me the times
