Most people who listen to the whole CD say this song is thier favorite, with a certain voiceover part about 3 minutes into it a hilight. This was the second song I've written, and it went through a countless number of revisions when it was still in the songwriting stage. Take a listen, hope you like it. |

Lyrics
Take this picture away from me. The thought of us together is to much for me to see. The sun is setting now, further below me- casting a cover on a lifetime behind me. Now I wish I could remember these days of gone- or even take me back to then. To see the light gleam in your eyes, our hands together, our hearts entwined. And I know now that this beautiful lie I'm living, takes me back to now. The chance I never took, the way this should've gone. When all is said and done, I'll be on my own. The call I never made, the walk we never took- the chance we never had. So i guess I've lost at this one again. The to many wasted days. The blank looks on our faces only hiding the real truth. Standing alone, things become attached as others fall apart. This will now become merley a memory on a wall, in a room filled with flourescense. This only makes sense now, when the moon is two past halfway when the only sound left to hear is the slow sound of a second hand struggling somewhere in between the eight and eleven. So I wonder how we'll say goodbye this time- if we can ever get past hello.
