This is the first song on my album, and the last one I recorded. I did everything on Memorial day, all the guitars in one take. This showcases one of the "full band" songs (there are 3 on the disc) where I preform not only the guitars and vocals, but the drums, bass, all guitars, everything. |

Story Behind the Song
Everything was done in my room, with my own recording equipment, which means I had to concentrate on sound quality and musicianship, something I found quite difficult. The drums were recorded in a guest befroom in my house, and everything else in my carpeted room. The lyrics meaning? Email me and I can tell you the real story.
Lyrics
--Hello, I'll tell you this time, for this may be the last one I'll say. This memory is lasting longer then I hoped for. The strange pureness to this time, before we left for two weeks apart. I can already see the dust gathering. Dont know if I'll ever remember you. As we both walk out the backdoor, into the dark night- the stars are overwhelming, but the blue lights burn so bright. Maybe I'll trust you this time, when you tell me this again. I've already heard it one thousand times before. I can already feel the pain build in me, dont know if I'll pull it through this time.
