Story Behind the Song
This is just a demo for the song "Chump" off of the self-released LP, "Hoax the Folks." The music will remain the same for the final version, but the mix and recording will be much better. The song was done in one take and all the instruments were quickly mixed.
"Chump" is a song about the harsh controls of an authority figure and how they use the public because they believe we are stupid. But the lyrics are metophoric in the way that on first listen, the song seems to be about a relationship.
