The Song "Melancholy" was recorded back in the year 1998, by the Jordanian local rock band "Grief Versus Ecstacy"; as the first song of a coming album, but problems came in and the album was never recorded! A video of the song was shot in lots of different locations inside Jordan but mainly was in the magical place of "Wadi Rum", yet again for financial problems the video never saw the lights! "Grief vs. Ecstacy" are: "Sami Kreishan on lead Guitars, Ibraheem Sheshani on Rythem, lead guitars and Vocals, Feras Al-Batch on the Drums, and Hazem Ammari on Bass guitars" |

Story Behind the Song
"Melancholy" doesn't have a real storyline behind the music, it's just a mood, an experience and a point of view for the meaning of the word melancholy, that seems to be clearer in the "Acoustic and Bass" part... Enjoy!
Lyrics
Close all the doors of happiness and pleasure
Add a little misery to your life..
Smell the smell of the burning desire
Sense the crumbling walls of hope
Live the unshown facts of denial
Breathe the blackened despair air
Look deeply into the burning fire
to explore the world of melancholy..
