	Story Behind the Song It seems there is never too many Christmas songs, and one more seemed like a good idea. I wrote the lyrics on Dec. 23 of 1995, and gave it the title to describe what everyone does at Christmas time. It describes the retail madness, the folklore of Santa, and going home for the holidays. It mentions the bad news of people in need at this time of year, and the looking forward to a new and better year to come. Lyrics Last minute shoppers line the stores I'm glad I got mine done early.
