Athmospheric orchestral piece. Sounds like a combination of impressionism (or post impressionist french orchestral music) with Frank-Martin style 12tone technique. (No prejudice please ;-) | MP3.com CD: Elements - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
This piece is an excerpt from the introduction of an orchestral movement that I composed in a lonely sylvester/NewYear night some years ago (Sylvester is a great time for composing :-).
The piece starts with an 'almost' 12tone melody which decides to duplicate some notes, so it's not realy 12tone. The theme is then transposed every time it's repeated.
(That's why it sounds a bit like the intro of F.Martins PetiteSymphonyConcertante)
The harmonic structure uses my special 'symetric chords'. If you listen carefully you'l' find that I use the same strange technique even in many of my popPieces....
