	A song about that one special person that you only meet once and how decimated you are when things don't work out.
	Story Behind the Song A girl I met while living in California for the summer was my motivation for the song. Things were awesome for eight months or so and then something happened which I have not figured out to this day, one month later. I wrote this song in my apartment in about 15 minutes one day lyrics and guitar and bass lines. I recorded it in my room on a computer microphone which is why there is a few sketchy parts soon to be fixed. Lyrics VERSE: i'm missing you today in this small washington town you're more than a friend to me my love for you is like a flood, i think i might drown looking at your picture wishing i was there with you reading all your poems focusing on everything that we've been through CHORUS: they say sometimes you need some time apart but right now all i've got's a broken heart you're the only one who's got the cure i'll love you always, that i know for sure VERSE: two thousand miles between us and i'm sorry if i scared you but you mean so much to me and there's nothing that I can do i listen to the songs you love imagining i'm singing with you my eyes search the stars above looking for some sort of clue CHORUS: but i will never give up on my love for you i can't let go of something that's so pure and true you can turn around and not look back but eventually when you do, i'll be right there waiting for you BRIDGE: all the late nights i sat alone so i'd call you on the phone we would talk the whole night through and then i'd say that i love you then you'd say that you love me it would make me so happy those days are gone like a passing glance won't you give me another chance VERSE: another sleepless night i think about you all the time i'm at an all time low if there's any way to get you back, please let me know i don't understand what happened to your love for me one day it was there the next day it was just set free
