    Not much to it – it’s an easy shakedown
    Living large the king of this town
    Hey there, what’s new?
    Is that your new crown?

    Where have u been?
    How long are you ‘round?
    The crowd grows larger and begins to sound
    Obviously feelings abound

    {Chorus:

    Feeling the feeling like this was your home
    Hearing the screaming and possibly moans
    Remembering playgrounds and road hockey games
    Remembering lunches
    And playing in the rain
    Remembering old stories
    Laughing and joking
    Remembering the feeling like this was your home
    }

    How’s the new post?
    Why’d you leave your home?
    Nothing has changed around the old grindstone

    Were those fun times?
    Don’t misremember those friendships
    The Slip’n slides and those famed camping trips

    {Chorus}

    Why are you mean?
    Why must you provoke?
    Outspokenly blunt when you joke
    All the hearts you broke – the people u woke

    You’re the king of this town
    You’re the king of this town

    Many different faces yet all one man
    Not just you’re typical tarzan

    {Pre-Chorus}

    Who are you anyway?
    Doesn’t really matter - u simply must stay.

    Chorus:

    Feeling the feeling like this was your home
    Hearing the screaming and possibly moans
    Remembering playgrounds and road hockey games
    Remembering lunches
    And playing in the rain
    Remembering old stories
    Laughing and joking
    Remembering the feeling like this was your home

    You’re the king of this town (with harmony)
    You’re the king of this town
