A rough demo of our song Falling Into Shadow. Agressive, but highly melodic. Has a kind of Dark Tranquillity feel to it in my opinion. The chorus you hear will NOT be the final version, it is being reworked and the final will be placed here when complete. We hope you enjoy this. It is long, but well worth it. The last few minutes are kind of an unexpected bonus. Recorded convo with our sound guy on how we're going to re-record it. |

Story Behind the Song
Jon was hoping to write a more melodic song that the typical Thrash Hangar 21 has been working on. It came out of left feild, but was liked by the band so they worked on it. The song is about starting from scratch after falling in life. The song was written in between takes at Sean's house. It took about 15 minuts for the guitar riffs to be thought out. The actual recording took nearly 5 hours and over 6 takes. The chorus still isn't right and is in the process of being fixed.
Lyrics
Verse1:
Once, Thrice I've laid in flames.
Fire consuming my fledgling soul.
Return to zero my time is nigh.
9 lives to give, 8 were in vain.
Division of the Prisim Ministry.
We're falling, forever fast.
Calling out, no one hears.
Trapped in fires light.
Chorus:
Falling into Shadow
My Secrets left to the grave.
Forgiveness for one who slays.
Through the mirror I'll play.
Verse2:
Now I find my life in forfeit.
Drained of all the promises.
Living in a world of steel and earth.
Bringing down the could I used to paint.
Break out, free myself of this.
Release, all this negative.
Bring down the prisim walls.
Reform, to make myself whole.
