	Story Behind the Song Where Does Love Go Songwriters talk about getting inspiration for songs from dreams. I woke up the other morning and had just dreamt the words to almost an entire song. It was a few days before my birthday and in my dream my wife asked me what the lyrics were for some song that I had been singing for years. I said, "Hang on, let me think for a second", but I went completely blank. I couldn't remember them at all and in my dream I was thinking "Oh great this is what happens when you get older, you can't remember lyrics anymore." Then in a flash of intelligence they came to me and I started reciting them to her. Then about midway through the song I realized those aren't the right words at all and I woke up. Now being awake I knew they weren't the words to any song I had ever sung in my life so I got up and wrote them down. I had to fill in a few blanks but the song was finished and I recorded it the next day. It's a very sad song so when you listen to it and keep a hanky handy.
