	This is the music I did for the Menu screens of the Free RTS "Glest"; download the game at www.glest.org (continues in "story behind the song", under track info)
	Story Behind the Song I wanted this time to make some string music to give the initial screens of the game a classic, sober style: and so, there´s nothing more here than plain counterpoint. Over an ostinato enters the first subject, followed by the answer, a fifth above in canon. Those are complemented by a third voice using material extracted from the subject, the whole fragment repeated until the end of the piece. Over it develops a second subject, this time complemented with two voices, the three of them working as invertible counterpoint: in fact, the three voices change their places before the piece reaches the end, which is not really and end as the whole is intended to be played in a loop until the player leaves the menu screens. I added some atmospheric sounds in order to give a visual relation with the forest under a storm which is shown there. -If I find some time, I will change this version for another with the music alone-.
