	Story Behind the Song Phil had these two riffs that didn't fit together, but wanted to do something with them. After not liking them for the longest time, when they were played a certain way with the bass and drums, they inspired the chord changes that started the framework of the song. Only one of the riffs is in this portion, and it's where the distorted guitar kicks the 5/8 pattern off and jumps between 5 and 7.
