	Story Behind the Song this was in essence the 8th take of the song. I had to try it in different keys to get the right feel. I wrote this song in less than a week after listening to Larry Walters story on an Art Bell show. It took about another week of toying with the mix to get it the way I wanted. I was inspired by his determination to fly and his bravery in doing what he did. To me he is a classic American Hero, though I am sure his family didn't think so at the time.
