    Story Behind the Song
Was recorded using crappy computer and a single mic directly in the back of said computer in our garage... then again what isn't nowadays?

    Lyrics
    garroting he was good at
immolation on the strength of a thought
a lithe and lively Mr. Fife
taking all the life he could get
"Opulence suits me, just like my axe."
he plays every stroke over and over and
wipes a drop of something from lapel and bifocals
his is a strong but icy hand breaking flesh like bread
he's all you want he's all you need to serve to love
    to slowly bleed
    "Now cry over me."
they're all awaiting their stage directions caking makeup on the best indiscretions
Mr. Fife's in the good fight
he knows the daughters of America intimately
    mom and pop too
    (sons in the back alley)
    a hamhock lover compound fracture
    to tide one over
    he politely screams
"Maybe I should right some wrongs..."
he pauses in thought for just a little bit
shrugs it off and licks his lips
    reaches for another piece
hugging his belly and sitting back
(would you like some more beer, sir?)

fife all your intentions are true
faith has been restored and the numbers are up
the color of your talk sticks on the mind
we're painting visions on the hopes of tomorrow
in our frozen meat locker you've cleaned sucking the marrow
    bright sunny skies
    sharpen your knives.
