    Story Behind the Song
Taken from the magazine "Mad 'bout Fishin' Trout" Sept 2001.
    Written By Billie Hippo
A new band has emerged from the local scene and is creating quite a stir. 'Big Daddy Donkey Wash and the Fried Egg Band,' bring an eclectic mix of Groove, Funk and Blues to the inland fishing community. I was lucky enough to sit down with Big Daddy Donkey Wash, Baba Ganouche, and Dr. Eggs after their gig at Sam's in Boyle Alberta.

BH - Big Daddy, what is more shocking to you. The fact that your given name is an anagram of 'Baby Choker Kit,' or that the inland fishing community has become your biggest fan base, or that Baba Ganouche at 26 has wet his pants.
BG - I haven't wet my pants, I spilled beer on myself. Oooh it's running down my leg.
BDDW - Well Billie, all I can really say is that I appreciate the support from the inland fishing community, but Baba Ganouche, I mean really man come on.
    BG - I SPILT BEER!

It was possible that Baba Ganouche spilt beer on himself, but the fact remained that it looked really funny.

BH - Who is the biggest influence on your bands sound?
    BG - Wesley Willis.
    DE - Steve McQueen
    BDDW - Well, I'd Have to say. . .
    BG - Me.
    BDDW - What?
BG - Your biggest influence is me.
BDDW - My biggest influence isn't a guy who pissed his pants. It's Ghandi. Not the regular Ghadi either, but Ghandi's clone.

BH - What's your favoite Big Daddy Donkey Wash and the Fried Egg Band song and why?
BG - 'Eptctotctmfbss,' because it will forever be impossible to perform and only exists in the realm of MIDI, and thus perfect. . . without flaw.
DE - 'Steve McQueen,' 'cause he's just so good looking.
BDDW - 'Gorilla.' I enjoy each section, and the lyrics are incredible. Our good friend 'Double Z' did an amazing job.

BH - Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
DE - Selling radios in the U.A.E.
    BG - Insane.
BDDW - I see myself as a session bass player after this collapses when Baba goes insane, and trust me, he will go insane. I mean he made up this whole thing. What you're reading now. Who every would write something like this would have to be somewhat unstable. Look at this guy. Making his own persona pee himself for everyone to read on the internet. What's with this guy. And why are you still reading this? Listen to the song!

    Lyrics
Well I emptied all my pockets lintbrush bounty on my headstone cold.
Rollin' over bishop high hat clockworks grindin' 'till the early morn.
Tell me all your passin fancys
let me drive your backroad highway home.
    Dustin' dawn still dancin' daybreak
bed side manner burped but barely born.
    oh yeah
Propped up on a topless bar
    She's a lapjack flapjack superstar

    Got that slipstream patent hairdo
    inkwelled eyelash blinkin' flashpan smile.
    Every Inch of bathroom tile
    tiptoed tallied talkin' backlash style.
So I packed my rubber rainskin splashin' puddles in the corner stall.
    Backed up drainpipe whistlin' dixie
Plumbers dashin duties down the hall.
    Drownin' all your pail regrets
What you want ain't always just what you get.

So I plucked my passin fancies
Dropped that junkies empty suitcase smile
    Flipped my headlight flashin highbeams
    Retro pipin bottled backwash style
    Scripted memoirs tattered pages, sages
Curtain call fall to the floor
    Sent a million scented bedsheets
    salted musky mandrake nightstand drawer
    That bottle of euphoric delight
    dabbled eardropped whispered secrets tonight.
