	Story Behind the Song I read an autobiography of a woman's battle with cancer entitled "First You Cry" and how she survived it and went on to have a very rewarding life as a TV Reporter. it inspired me. I loved the title. At that time, a friend of mine broke his relationship with his fiance. The marriage was called off - and he seemed so lost...I tied in those feelings in my song also....with a reminder that "after the storm, the sun usually shines..."
