	Story Behind the Song The lyrics are just thoughts going through my head before a band gig, thinking about things. Meaning I'm thinking about her, although there's nothing really romantic about it. I took the lyrics and crafted a melody and chords on manuscript paper, and then went to record it. It only took one or two takes for the instruments, perhaps more takes for the vocal track. Lyrics I'm listening to a sad old country song And I'm about to play at this joint. I got cocacobana on my piano But the tune just ain't right.
