	Story Behind the Song This song was our first ground up collaboration with Jose on board. We recorded our first 6 songs at Love Juice in Riverside over two weekends. Every vocal track is pretty much first take. Lyrics Come inside with me. Take the glass and drink it down . This is what can make you whole. Let it take you to another state of being where I can lead you down the path I know. Take my hand... Should there be much more than simple eyes can show , do not let it lead you away. Never look behind. There’s nothing left to fight for. Time has come to pull away. Never looking back… There’s a weight across my shoulders...and I cannot bear the strain. I live inside the fear that this might drive me insane. Silence is my best defense and it will help me not to see, all the lies that keep me down help me live inside the world around me. Is there more to this life than everything that holds and binds me, or is this all the truth, just hidden oh so well that I cannot see. Seeing into the future ahead we can easily leave much behind. Never seeing the needs we suppress we pursue evil ways undefined. Can you stand to be one of the few, who will burn down the things they can find? I accuse you of taking the fall and of willingly staying behind. Many times I have lifted you up just to see you drop further below. Now I see that the choice has been made and you’d rather not sink all alone. Is there no none now left to behold that the past is no longer my king? I have left all the ways of my kind , to become more than they would believe. The time has come to stand my ground . You push me aside but I keep on standing . My body is bare. My soul is hollow. Moments of despair will lead you to the point where everything falls down around you. At the point of breaking down you will step beyond the edge and there will find the will to fly. It was easier to stay inside. But now I’m burdened with new sight. Silence was my best defense and it helped me not to see all the lies that kept me down helped me live inside the world around me. There was more to this life than everything that held and bound me. Now I can see the real world and I rejoice in understanding.
