Story Behind the Song
This song was written in 98' while attending L.S.U.It was directed to the beautiful hippie girls in Baton Rouge, LA. Paul Westbrook helped me work out some of the parts. It took a few nights to finish. The song took one take to record.
Lyrics
In a dream, you sang a summer song, with forests in your eyes, no stranger to your paradise. I tranquilize to black and white, blue green thoughts of apple pies, I never can realize why I always get so high. Far away you drank the poisoned wine and overcame the venomized, you have the power of the vine. I bury my face in your hair, smell the sweet love and no despair, I never can figure out how I always get so high...
