Story Behind the Song
The song is just another way to tell a story of the ages. Boy meets girl, boy meets love, girl screws him around, boy meets reality, boy is depressed. I wrote the song in a couple of hours when I was waiting for a girl to show up at my house. She never did show up, but I guess I really don't mind. The music was done expressly so I could use the C major seventh chord. All in all, it's my favorite song of my own.
