Story Behind the Song
Believe it or not, this song wasn't written for anyone. It just popped in my head and I recorded a scratch copy of it in March of 2002. It collected dust until February of 2003, when I "really" started to work on it and actually finished it.
The main idea of the song is that you care so much for someone that it becomes a weakness, so to speak. I guess that could be a good thing, or it could be a bad thing? I'll leave that up to the listener's interpretation....
Lyrics
The way I feel about you, girl, is driving me insane.
The way I feel each time we meet... you're my sun in the pouring rain.
The first time that I saw you, girl, your smile swept away my pain.
Each day that we spend together, baby, the more my world seems changed.
And, at the end of the day, sometimes I feel so tired.
Then, I see your face and I get so wired.
My weakness is you....
What more can I do....
Each day seems better than before.
There's nothing I want more...
than you.... My weakness is you.
All you have to do is call and I'm there in the blink of an eye.
We fit together like pieces of a puzzle.
All we have to do is try.
If I ever hurt you, babe, I didn't mean to make you cry.
Forget it all, let's slip away to our castle in the sky.
