	Story Behind the Song This is the part of conceptual album "Mentalligence". This is about Universe, about Earth, about Life and Death. The song was written somewhere in 2000 and recorded between April 2002 - November 2002. Lyrics Dying Angel Our planet is feasting on the dying Angel As it propels itself in fast rotation Crystal tears of rain are flowing from the Angel’s eyes As mountain peaks tear up her velvet skin Cutting deep into the flesh Blood is dripping on her robe of clouds And flowing down the rocky mountain slopes In scolding lava floods Her infinite wings that once embraced the Universe Are now but scattered remnants of their bygone glory Airy feathers of snow whirl in the wind And fall into the eyes of seers to make them blind The dying Angel’s moans scatter in the air like echoes They penetrate into the ground to quake the earth And deep into the human mortal flesh To burst the hearts and embolise the veins The Angel’s entity is passing the ordeal The merciless dementor of existence Is grinding the angelic soul divine Between the ruthless jaws of void and emptiness And laying all to waste that once was Heaven’s light Compelled to suffocate now in the deadly cold Of everlasting nothingness beyond reality A failure of whate’er could have been She will survive if planet stops in space and time Stops and collapses deep inside itself Blows up into its own belly And swallows to digest whateer’s left to be The Angel will survive, but there’ll be no-one else To live and to rejoice in contemplation Of the impeccable angelic beauty Although there won’t be anything but beauty anymore And beauty will be dead
