    Story Behind the Song
When there's nothing particularly song-worthy going on in my life, I'll just make up other people and right about their lives... This song is from the perspective of a girl that gets in a car wreck with her two best friends while coming home from a party. She's just coming to in the hospital bed and realizing she's the only one that survived the accident. She is blind has a few broken bones, which I'm sure she's not happy about either...

    -Warren

    Lyrics
    Fluorescence,
    A broken watch,
    The things we need
    To light and time ourselves

    A headache
    Two broken arms
    A Three point landing
For the Pilot of a Wheelchair

    We Paved the road
With 300 ways to get old
    We paid the toll
But there's no place to go,
    At least that we know.

    I recollect,
    Her driving home
    The Three of us drunks,
The same as any other night.

    The wreckage
Has bruised my eyes and bones,
    But it's best
That I should never see this

The light's out, but we're okay
You leave this all on me.

Sing me softly through the windshield,
The Pills and the makeup are left to talk.
