    Story Behind the Song
TiLL wrote this song when she was bored in communications class. Basically everything in this song is a symptom of having bad communication according to Prof Cartwright, so she wrote this song. That and she wanted to always say end transmission in a song, so well who knows.

    Lyrics
You stare long into my eyes

    Shifting in your seat

    Biting your lip tight

    While nonchalantly tapping off beat

    You seem confused

The non verbal clues are there

    You seem to be listening

    But, is my message clear?

    Chorus:

    Message encoded, transferred…

    Broadcasted in the highest fidelity

    You've changed the context

Meaning noncongruent between you and me

    Eyebrows raised

    Forehead wrinkled and your

    Mouth is poised

    Start static

    End transmission

    Too much semantic noise

Message sent is not message received

    I'm getting no feedback

    Relational level is deteriorating

Field of experience does not overlap

    Our cognitive filters differ

    Our meanings do not match

    The broadcast is getting distorted

My frequency you can not catch

    (Chorus)

    Can you hear me?

    I just can’t find a way

    To alleviate the problem

    Of what I say

    Can you hear me?

    Am I getting through?

    I’m sick and tired

    Of arguing with you.

    Chorus
