	Story Behind the Song The song was written by Lance Keller who has alot of very vivid and bizarre dreams. After reading A book on jungian dream interpetation he put some lyrics together with a chord progression he'd been working on. The Lake of Dreams represents the deep unconsious mind. The message of the song is to listen to what your dreams are telling you and an exhortation to be human and not "Let your mind become a macine" Lyrics Its a game, It's a game we play all of our lives. Trying to find that compromise. We search for the answers everywhere but in ourselves. We look for God in the Sky. Over the hills and through the trees. There's a place I call the lake of Dreams. Visions running through the night, giving us our second sight. So take a dive into the lake of dreams. Let the moonlight hypnotize the scene. Stand your ground, Don't let your mind become a machine. When those nightmares come unexpectedly. You've got to ride that coaster down. So you can make amends with your own dark side. So you don't end up in the lost and found.
