	Story Behind the Song The tune was written in March 2003 and is essentially about knowing that you had help but still reaching the edge...and realising that something has to give. The song was recorded over three days and mixed in a further 24-hr period at Kristian Sharpe's studios, Plymouth. The bassline was provided over the Net by none other than James Eller (of The The fame) after he heard a very basic rendition of the song. Lyrics It's been a long time; the monarchs of my mind have weighed you up and sussed you out. You've been a tonic -- isn't it ironic? I've been sniffing around the foothills of my doubts. But you saw me, you did what you could for me -- now this frenzy is all mine. I put it on show, nothing left to swallow...I just can't tow any more lines. There has to be a turnaround this time. There has to be a turnaround..... Pick a new life over old, adorned with gold; my heavy feet they've dragged too often. The lords of me are spinning -- can you feel me winning? There are faces in my life I've not forgotten. But I know you're going to be someone. There has to be a turnaround this time... I know where we are.
