Story Behind the Song
The song is about when the reality we are aware of starts to slip away and we find ourselves in another dimension. If we allow ourselves, life can take on another meaning. This song was written during a period of self exploration which included a lot of meditation and fasting. I didn't mean to fast, it just happened. A few days and many hallucinations later, I was my old self again but quite possibly renewed and a little bit more open-minded about what the world really was. Maybe the world is a lot more plastic and full of illusions, maybe no more coincidences but real guidance. Also, I was able to see past my old preconceived limitations. I don't always explain my songs however, I thought It might be nice this time. Enough of this, I hope you enjoy the tune and have your own
experience.
Most of all I believe the song conveys a certain hopeful feeling. I hope I didn't ruin it for you.
Lyrics
you brought in everything
you brought in changes
everyone
in your cold little lighted gray
dancing angels
early morning chase
darken the season
such a shaded face
i see you changing
finally meeting the pages
of your first little letting go
your first history to know
if i didn't think you could be here
if i didn't up and gone
or favor everything you did
i know i am that strong
in this dream it's always been
to corrupt this seamless seam
of evidence erasing consciously bathing
you had this energy
etched in marble
for what was traded
all just jaded
you can't really dwell on everything
pick yourself up and go
meet the next few years
really up to go
(b-sec)
(chorus)
