    Story Behind the Song
Recorded in one take at Sound Venture Studios in Ottawa Ontario, "Things" is about how quickly life can overwhelm a person (when things go bad they go bad fast). The song was written during the floods in Japan back in 1995.

    Lyrics
Things can change, in a moment
Like a wave, so big you can only run with it
    I can sense, subtle movement
    Underground, somethings coming,
    Things could change one day

    Doesn't seem so easy now
    No matter what you say
It's not like I can wave my hands
    And make it go away

    (repeat 1st verse)
There's a place, in the shadows
Where the law, like the weather
    Changes everyday

    (repeat chorus)
