Story Behind the Song
Written on the drive from cincinatti, ohio to Dekalb, Illinois after dropping off two old friends, thinking about the things that we do to hurt ourselves.
Lyrics
I never wanted to know I work better alone, but don't leave me alone or ask too much. childhood is gone and I forgot to turn the heat on all the way to Indianapolis. When you don't shift for one hundred miles and your heart lead me through so many styles. I put orion to my left and long for what is right, but I woke up last night to kill a spider on the wall, smeared him/her across the paint, put some music on and went back to sleep. and I used to spend full moons alone, but now I can't trust myself. I don't know if I want to love or be loved. A temporary solution, because I feel like I'm always leaving, but I wish I could find another place to stay and say another thing I found another way home it's through a hole in my arm.
