	Story Behind the Song Dave Hicks and I recorded a track called "this" in our band "10 foot gluestick" www.mp3.com/10ftgluestick. I always thought the song was good, but we recorded it so long ago (we weren't as good at composing and producing music as we are now) I wanted to redo the track. So here it is. The all the synth tracks were performed on a $50 service merchandise keyboard Dave's mom got him a long time ago for a birthday. Dave wrote and performed most of the melody, I did most of the drums and mixing. There are alot of drum tracks. They were created in a few ways: with a roland drum machine, Dave's old keyboard, banging pots and pans, banging microphones, fruity loops, my newer roland synth, and a lot of sound editing in Sound Forge. As for the scratching, I'm proud to so I did decent scratching on my turn tables (haven't been scratching for too long yet, took me forver to get my hands on a pair of tables...so i usually suck). --For any sound editing junkies out there, one thing I find amazing is that the original song was mixed and recorded entiredly in Sound Forge which, has no sequencing or multi-track capabilities at all. But the final mix of this song here, was done imported and sequenced in Sonic Foundry Acid.
