    Slow Ponderous Monster Dirge
CD: Das ist Fraankenrawk !   Label: *****
Credits: Score: The Gimp, Lryics: Dr. Stangerawk

    Story Behind the Song
The Gimp started thumbming the riff out of the blackness one stormy night. Caught in the grip of visionary flashbacks to a scarrier time, Dr. Stangerawk started warping out a reflection of the Mary Shelly story of Dr.Frankenstein's Monster, taking in account and exemplifing the fact misconception that the monster itself is called Frankenstein. A great chance to weave a tale and make lots of strange noises.
The lyrics are 90% the same as the first "off the cuff version" and seem to be evolving slowly.
This is usually a last song of the night tune so that I can pour the rest of the juice out and then just collapse in a heap.
This is version # 6 of this song and it's hard to say which is the best one.
Very minimal after effects are used in this 2-track, 3-mic live recording.
This song is Raw and ready to go.
    Warp Away !

    Dr. Strangerawk

    Lyrics
Late one night I was walking through a graveyard
    Mystical hard driving rain
Late one night I was digging in the soil
It was black, I was covered in shame
I was digging old body parts-body-parts-body parts
    Body-parts-body parts
Take them back to the castle in the higher tower
    Where the chemicals boil around

Late one night in the highest tower of the castle
    I hooked them all together
Waiting for the lightning, I was calling for the lightning
I was waiting for the in climate weather
Attach a steel damn rod to a steel damn rod
To a steel damn rod to the peak of the castle
I was calling for the heavens, calling for the hell
To animate my creature of the night

Creature of the night and the creature of the night
Animate my creature of the night
Creature of the night and to ‘an” the creature of the night
Animate my creature of the night
Of the night, of the night
Animate my creature of the night

    And they call him Frankenstein
    And they call him Frankenstein
They call him-call him Freaky Frankenstein
    Yes they call him Frankenstein
    And they call him Frankenstein
They call him-call him Freaky Frankenstein
    Frankenstein, Frankenstein
    Franken-Franken-Frankenstein
    Call him-call him Freaky Frankenstein
    Frankenstein, Frankenstein
    Franken-Franken-Frankenstein
    Call him-call him Freaky Frankenstein

With a big bear hug and a hydrogen smile
He woke with his eyes full of fire
He woke up with new eyes and he woke up with new thighs
And he and he woke with desire
For another dead love and another dead love
Another cast away he was blind
He was blind- blind- blind-blind- blind- blind- blind- blind- blind- blind- blind
    Blind- blind- blind- blind-blblblblblblblbl-blind

And we fought in the tower and he crawled from the tower
And the strange water ran my back
And the lightning did crackle and the sky did sparkle
And the water ran down his back
And we’re never going back, yes we’re never going back
And he went to the north damn pole
And I chased with ‘cross the ice and I chased him with my eyes
And I chased in the land where there’s no-and there’s no alligators

( moans, groans, and general sounds of monstrous despair )
