	Story Behind the Song The lyrics to this song were written during classes at NJIT. Just watching how stupid people can be and how futile so many of life's endeavors are inspired the lyrics. The music was written in my basement by the band. The coolest part of the song I think is the drumming which was done by our extremely talented 14 year old drummer Alex. We recorded this song along with 4 others in the span of two days in this kid's basement studio. Lyrics Fragile minds filled with empty spaces Dream of sleepy, sweet smelling places Peel the ignorance off your skin. You won’t regret it Abandoned to your blindness, the mirror won’t let you show your face again. So brush away the past The film left on your brain by the TV makes it hard for me to speak to you. You’ll always be left in last place, with feet nailed to the ceiling. I don’t know what to say to you anymore. Wasted days, can’t pull yourself together Take those dreams and put them in your pocket You think you’ve got everything you need, You’re complacent in your insecurity. But you can’t fill the void in your heart. So cover up the flaws. We are the glue that’s holding this together And there’s no time to sit around and uncoil Like a worm on the sidewalk I’m running out of reasons to keep on crawling to my own self-destruction.
