	This song has a world beat kind of flavor, but is rooted in Folk Pop/Rock. Catchy melody, 2 guitars, 1 vocal and poetic lyrics, a perfect combination for kicking back.

	Story Behind the Song This song was written after meeting a beautiful woman with a cat that was dying. The cat didn't make it, but the beautiful woman and I did. The melody sprung from a few bar riff I kept playing (off the C) and the lyrics started driving what would eventually become the chorus. In all, it took me about an hour and forty minutes to write. I didn't get a chance to record it until a few days after a major ear operation...surprisingly, the pitch wasn't too horrific. I recorded directly into my computer using Cool Edit Pro software (mic and guitar plugged directly into sound card). I layed the first guitar track in about 15 minutes, or 3 takes. The second/lead guitar track what something I didn't intend to add, but some noodling around produced a quirky little echo riff (probably 4 takes; 1/2 from one take and the other half from another). You will notice a problem with the lead synchopation in the bridge...I was a bit out of time, but let it go anyway. The vocals took 2 takes even though it was very difficult to hear, I knew the song well enough to get by. I double the vocals for the chorus to add weight. It is my favorite song to date...people have compared it to a Paul Simon song, I will take it.
