Snow angels aren't gaurding me from anything
Credits: Jeff Galt @ Slap Studios(philly, PA)

    Story Behind the Song
Ok I wanna take a time her to describe the lyrics so everyone can actually know what they mean. The main theme of the song is about winter getting the best of people cuase the cold durmant climate just makes you feel closer to breaking down. The first verse refers to how I(jeff) Wwent like two months of the past winter without seeing the ground cuase of all the snow, and it became a reutine that no matter what just wouldnt break and would make me crazy.. till it finally went away
Second verse refers to how the city would always reflect the blues of the sky and that was pretty depressing, as if everything was that lifeless during this season.
Last verse has the only real symbolism, it refers to letting the cold air split my lip, and me bleeding. Bleeding refers to contrast next to the cold december, and it refers to feeling alive, cuase to bled is a sign of life, and I use that as a way to know that winter hasnt yet taken me down.
Snow angels arent gaurding me from anything I wrote to express that there the only angels I can see, but they always just remain there as if taunting me and not helping me get out of the rut of winter.

    Lyrics
Searching for the end of winter
as my breath sits and lingers
    Amongst the air
    Amongst the oxygen
    And the snow turns back
To the water it once was
    And the ground redefines
    A form wonce forgotten'
But dont you overlook it at all
    No you don't

    Chorus:
    And maybe we can see
    the mercury rise above
    32 degrees
    And maybe we can taunt
the mercury to ruse way above
    32 degrees

    The skyline tints
    The greyest shades of blue
    Over the rooftops
    Cityscape glass giants
    Reflecting monotinted afternoons
Glowing softly in the evening rain
So let it pour down tonight
    And make everything alright

    Im hoping that
    The leaves can find
There way back to the trees of springtime
    (4x)

    (chorus)

(And snowangels aren't gaurding me from anything)
    The air was cold
It was cold as the night
    Came down split my lip
    Right open blood rushed out
A preasant relief from December days
    That get me every year
They get me every single time around
