	A song I wanted to write to convey the way I feel about the cliches involved in dating and breaking up.

	Story Behind the Song I wrote this song when I was staying out in a quiet country village for a couple of weeks. ecause there was so little to do I found it a really useful time for writing new material and actually wrote several songs at the time. Once I had the basic notion for the song in my head it took me 2, maybe 3 days to get all the lyrics written and polish up the ending but this was a really easy song to write for me. In terms of the recording I just stuck a mic in front of my acoustic guitar, recorded the guitar part, then put the vocals over the top in the space of about an hour or so.
