Everyone has a blind spot they don't see unless they get the courage to tear off the blinders and get exceedingly honest. Then again, many choose a safe familiarity over true happiness...and perhaps their purpose is to serve as the greatest example of what not to do. 	Story Behind the Song I wrote this when I was 18, to confront my biggest fear about a future self I hoped I'd never meet. Sometimes taking out our fears and exposing them to the light of day makes them turn to dust, as it did for me. Many years later that poem became this song.
