	Story Behind the Song Coming to the end of what was for most of my travelling companions, our first of many European tours, the words to the chorus kept going through my head. Kind of a preminition of things to come...going our separate ways, though plans had been made, surely they were made to be broken, and then come around again when we would least expect them. Upon our return home to Nashville, I was visiting with a heartbroken friend, and that was all it took to usher in the verses. Remaining true to the lyrics, it took us a while before actually recording. But it is always a pleasure making music with Andy...if you can find him. He's probably on his way to Europe again as I write this now. Lyrics I grew old so I could be smart, I got smart so I could sacrifice. I sacrificed so I could get more of what I wanted to get out of life. I got more so I could lose it all, Just to try and get it back again.
