	This is one of my most recent pieces for acoustic guitar and effects that I'm most proud of. I've done quite a bit of recordings on acoustic guitar, mostly stuff exploring polyrythms, this one I feel explores that then goes even further out there until it becomes a wash of noise. All the sounds are created live and put onto 4 Track. I'm moving further away from creating music and manipulating the source on computer, I don't think there's anything wrong with that, it's just I'm getting more interested in what I can create live instead of relying on post production. This is a perfect example, every sound that you hear is a manipulation of acoustic guitar and vocals (backwords, forwards, through effects, and the microphone in direct contact with the guitar) as it's layed down. I should also mention that the whole piece is just over 15 minutes long, so I've trimmed this in half to make it easier to download and to accomodate the limitations of MP3.com.

	Story Behind the Song I think this is a real nice example of where my guitar playing and recording is moving to. I'm a long way from getting sick of the guitar and it seems every night I am able to get a new sound/pattern out of it. I've also got to mention how happy I am with the new 4 Track, so much of my past stuff was plagued by mass amounts of tape hiss, the new Tascam along with a new microphone and a better understanding of how to set up a recording session have really made my music accelerate by leaps and bounds.
